The natural world is in trouble and we need to take action.

We want to see UK politicians show strong domestic and global nature and climate leadership by:

1. Giving a pay-rise for nature

2. Making polluters pay

3. Delivering more space for nature

4. Putting a right to a healthy environment in law

5. Ensuring fair and effective climate action

Nature

All species are at risk...

Our rivers and sea are being poisoned by horrifying amounts of pollution, wildlife numbers continue to spiral with 1 in 6 British species at risk of extinction, and floods and droughts are becoming more extreme as we see the escalating effects of the climate emergency.

Yet the UK Government’s own advisers say we are not on track to meet legal targets to restore nature and reduce climate emissions.

Needs

It's time to take action...

That’s why a wide-range of groups, from leading nature charities like the RSPB to environmental activists like Extinction Rebellion, are urging everyone who cares for nature to march through London on Saturday 22 June, with a simple demand to all political parties: Restore Nature Now

You

...can make a difference.

This legal, peaceful, inclusive and family-friendly demonstration aims to be the biggest gathering of people for nature and climate that the UK has ever seen. It is both a celebration of British nature and a protest calling for urgent political action on the nature and climate emergencies.

Looking for something to wear to the Restore Nature Now March on 22 June? You can now get yourself a Restore Nature Now T-shirt through our new store! The profits from each sale will be used to support the delivery of Restore Nature Now march and help to make it a success.

We will be gathering at Park Lane, London, W1K, between midday and 1pm on Saturday 22 June 2024.

From there the march will take a predetermined route through the city before ending in Parliament Square.

There will be family friendly performance art, sculptures, singing and more for added entertainment for our marchers. The march will be wheelchair accessible and BSL interpreted. For access information, please contact xr.inclusion@protonmail.com

The culmination of the march will see a central ‘rally’ in Parliament Square at around 2.30pm. This will see well-known names and faces speaking to marchers about the political and policy changes we need to see to finally turn the tide for the environment and Restore Nature Now.

The Restore Nature Now march is supported by a diverse group of dozens of wildlife and environment organisations (including the RSPB, The Wildlife Trusts, The Climate Coalition, WWF-UK, National Trust, WWT, Woodland Trust, Wildlife and Countryside Link, Rewilding Britain, Extinction Rebellion and Chris Packham) who are united in our demand to #RestoreNatureNow

The next generation deserves a world free from the threat of climate catastrophe and where nature is thriving. The next General Election could be a turning point for our natural world and so together we’re calling on politicians of all parties to act now for people, nature and climate. Action now is vital to put nature into recovery and halve emissions by 2030.
